I drove my dad's truck around the block today. I haven't drivena a manual car is so many years so it was touch and go for a few seconds. I thought I hadn't found reverse because the car wasn't moving. The problem was I hadn't accelerated enough for it to move. go me! I drove around the block and couldn't find 3rd gear, I found 5th instead. No wonder the poor thing wasn't moving and revving up every time I tried to accelerate. Then I made it home, finally. Our driveway is on an incline. I put the truck in the wrong gear. The truck wouldn't go uphill. So, I let it roll back down and then started up the hill again.

That was my afternoon.

I'm so obsessed with lawn bowls right now that whenever I see anything about it on TV it makes me just wanna run on down to the bowls club and have a game. I think I'll be getting in some practice tomorrow and how excited am I about that? I need to mark April 25 on my calendar. That's the day I get to price sets of bowls. Hopefully, I'll get to pick up a second hand set that aren't too expensive. *fingers crossed*
